Edit the file **/etc/pam.d/su** Add, uncomment, or correct the line:

  auth required pam_wheel.so use_uid
  
Edit **/etc/group** and add the following line

  wheel:x:10:root, <user list>
  
Edit the file **/etc/sudoers**. Add, uncomment, or correct the line:

  %wheel ALL=(ALL) ALL
